We felt that there were a lot of sites for expats in Vietnam, but none that really knows what we need. We did not want a list of apartments that may or may not be available when I call the anonymous number and hope someone speak English on the other end. I do not want to try to find information about Vietnamese paper work on Google. Most of the time we just need someone to ask about things. In order to get 1 or 2 years temporary residence card, you will have to have work permit, for more detail about work permit, please refer our article here: http://www.expat.vn/work-permit-in-vietnam
In order to get 3 years temporary residence cars, you will need to have:
1. Work permit and you are the Chief Representative office in Vietnam
2. You own a business in Vietnam
