It is depend on the landlord in dist 2, as they might get a fine if the police check and you are staying there without being registered

Dear Expat.vn team,

I leave in PMH.. my landlord mentioned that he registered for me in the PMH police station already. but in the weekend I normally go to stay in my friend house in Dist. 2 (overnight). Please advise whether I should ask my friend to inform his landlord to register me under his address in Dist. 2 police station again?

You can get a criminal record in HK or in USA in order to apply for work permit in Vietnam

Regarding your degree, you need to get it certified by the Gov and Vietnamese embassy in USA, where you got your degree.

I have been living in Hong Kong for the past 11 months and I am considering working in Vietnam. In regards to the criminal background check. Do I need to get one from the US or from Hong Kong? Can I get my degree authenticated/notarized here? My degree is from a school in the USA.
